The Graph Algebra Problem Page

A Collection of Open Problems for Graph C*-algebras and Leavitt Path Algebras

This webpage collects open problems in Graph Algebras, particularly graph C*-algebras and Leavitt path algebras. It is one of the products of the 5-day workshop Graph Algebras: Bridges between graph C*-algebras and Leavitt path algebras, which was held at the Banff International Research Station from April 21--April 26, 2013. (The videos and slides from some of the talks at this workshop are available online.)

At the workshop, participants generated a list of open problem in graph algebras. This page started as a repository for these problems, with the goals of

  1. Making these open problems available to the public;
  2. Providing clear statements of the problems with links to relevant resources or background material; and
  3. Maintaining the list by reporting any progress made and providing references to solutions or partial solutions as they are developed.
Our hope is that others working on graph algebras will use this page to find out about current problems in the subject, and we also hope others working in the area will contribute open problems to the list, so that it can direct attention to trends in the subject and also become a public record of progress made in the discipline. We encourage anyone with suggestions on the page, problems to propose, or information related to progress on the problems currently listed, to contact us.
