Workshop on Cuntz-Pimsner Algebras

December 16 -- December 19, 2019
University of Houston

In the past fifteen years, Cuntz-Pimsner algebras have received increasing attention from the operator algebra and noncommutative geometry communities, leading many mathematicians to investigate their properties from several perspectives. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers who have developed distinct viewpoints on Cuntz-Pimsner algebras in order to share ideas and promote collaboration.

This conference is generously supported by NSF grant DMS-1700316. We are committed to the strengthening and enrichment of the mathematics personnel base, and to the development of the local region. Students, junior mathematicians, mathematicians from underrepresented groups, and researchers from the local region are encouraged to inquire about participation in the workshop.
